Hello Sarah,

You have a lot of questions. I'll copy and paste them to answer them as best as I can.

1. How do I combine the two so I can upload them to Amazon and the other publication services?

It is uploaded as two separate files. On the Amazon upload page, you upload the document in document format. A little lower down the page, you upload the book cover.

2. Does the cover need to be in a different file format?

My notes state that Amazon requires a JPG for the cover. Depending on the program you are using, you can do a "save as" or an "export" feature and save as a JPG. Amazon may have updated and allow a PDF. Best to have both.

3. Do I need someone sighted to help me upload the book?

I tried with VoiceOver last year, and it was accessible then. It might be a good idea to have someone available in case you need them, probably not necessary. Though it does seem there may have been a tricky spot. If you are good with your screen reader it should be fine.

4. Has anyone used draft 2 digital, and is it accessible?
Yes. I use Draft2Digital. I have not attempted to use their site with VoiceOver since they updated the site last spring.

I still have a pinhole of vision and am trying to use it as long as I can. As well as, learning VoiceOver for the days I can't use my remaining vision.

Good luck! And let us know the upload process goes for you.
