Hello All,

Been away from writing poetry for a bit --all scrambled during the
Christmas season, I guess. Just did this one this morning. I like it a
little, but of course one sees things five hours on which weren't
remotely visible to you when you saved the damned file. Anyway, it's a
hopeful, happy poem for the New Year and I hope that you like it.

Admirals

Noone need flog themselves

for cowardly sins. Each of us wins,

magnificent wild;for we strive

against night, that boundless deep cold,

that gamma burst sea. All of us,

all of us stand in bright passions

of hero, in valor enthroned.

Whether shopping or sleeping, fetching

water from that twenty mile well,

we're steering this sad brave burden, this blue

through the bitter black ocean,

we, the elect,we billions of admirals,

we champions, we chosen, we true.**
