[stylist] electronic books

Hi all,
Out of curiosity, I'd really like to know how you all get your 
books.
I mostly go on Bookshare, but if there is a book that I really 
want that is unavailable on there, I will buy it on Ibooks.
I know that many people have mentioned NLS.  I used to go on 
there but it seems like you need a BARD account.  Do these of you 
who use NLS read them in Braille or on tape?
Finally, does anyone know of any free legal ebook downloading 
sites, because that would be fun.
