Hi Bridgit, well, enough think that it would be too bad if cash 
couldn't be accepted at conventions.  I know for me, I bring a 
bunch of cash for raffles, to pay dues, etc.  My husband isn't 
particularly thrilled about Paypal, for whatever reason.  But it 
is getting rarer and rarer for people to write checks.  We can 
write them, but I suppose one of these days banks will get rid of 
them.  And that idiot from the FCC says the Internet is not 
necessary? What century is he living in?    Debby
