I have read a few piece in my writing group that I didn't like reading but we have to remember as writers we should read things out of our comfort zone for us to improve our writing. I suggest you read her piece as if you are taking a writing class. That might help you "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened" (Matthew 7:7-8).

I find the story to be extremely distasteful, definitely not something I'd read not something I'm even remotely interested in reading. It's challenging when I do my crits for me to find anything good to say about the piece.
