Thank you for your response to my book review of Barbara Crooker's book, Les
Fauves.
It was a great pleasure for me to write about this book. As you said, this
book is rich and deep. As poetry should be.
I chose to not read anything by her at all, and not to do any r4esear4ch
before I wrote it. I wanted my review to be a close reading of what I saw in
her text. I am glad I waited until after I sent the re4view out before
finding more about her and her books. She is remarkable!

thank you for giving us the opportunity to read this book review. The
language in the review is so rich, and the book itself seems like a really
terrific deep read.

Good MORNING NFB Writing Friends,

I am so delighted to give you this link today to my Book Review on
Wordgathering.

Was asked by the editor to write a review on Les Fauves by Barbara Crooker.
The piece is over 2,000 words so I will post the link for you. This piece
brought me great delight in the reading and writing because it gave me the
opportunity to write with my "fine art hat" firmly in place. The Humanities
Professor in me took over!
