[stylist] From your Writing Division gathering hostess

My focus was vocal performance, but we did have to take piano proficiency and music theory. But I worked primarily with a vocal coach and was in the university choir, in addition to vocal recitals. I also auditioned and performed with community theatre and friend's bands on the side, smile.

My degree was in liberal arts music. I got a little bit of everything: Siri, piano, and vocal performance. I tried out for piano performance but I did not make it. It was a well rounded experience. I also took classes which improved voice performance. I decided I wanted to try vocal performance. However, by the time I decided that I was half through that program so I just finished it.
