Hi Judy and others,

For sure, I agree and sounds like your scholarship does too with the
writing wisdom about dialogue and tags. I just finished listening to a
novel where I caught tags being used within a speaker's ongoing
dialogue that might be four to six sentences maximum. That estimate is
a kind one on my part. Apparently, the authors felt it necessary to
stick a tag mid-way through.

Excuse the digression.
