Hello Writers,

Jackie Lee, as your group is in transition, is this a local meeting
group or online group?

I have been involved in an online story writing group where
encouragement was the rule and critiquing was almost snubbed. The
feeling was that we are all writers in process and not experts. As
long as stories did not contain hard core erotica or excessive use of
derogatory lingo, and met with the monthly theme all was in order.
Participants voted on the top three stories. They still do. The group
is in a lull with about 10 stories a month on average nowadays. I left
due to the lack of constructive feedback given or received.
