Hi all, I haven't written here for awhile. But David, your question piqued my interest. For me, I think it's a bit of both. I read what interests me, but at another level I read what I need to know. For instance, I have an interest in World War Ii, especially as it impacted the lives of ordinary people. But for my spiritual growth, I look for books that I need to read, books that will deepen my prayer life and make me think. So I think there's a definite reading of what people are interested in. Homefully this makes sense. I am just now beginning to drink my first cup of coffee, so my brain is in slow mode. Debby
