Hi Linda,
Thank you so much for the info. I joined writer circle in the NFB conference, I'm a new author of the book identity theft a victims search for justice by Deborah E Joyce.
As a new author I have a quick question - with all the marketing research, blogging, social media, etc. Where do you find the time to write?
I didn't know anything, I just wanted to write a memoir about a personal experience.

Subject: Re: [Stylist] Nature Poetry Submissions
Sunday Afternoon Greetings,
I am sharing a site for the publication of Nature Poetry - Plum Tree Tavern - editor Russell Streur.
This is a nature-themed poetry site that I like very much. The editor has clear and specific guidelines about what he expects so it is easy to know if your poem might be just right for his publication. That makes it easy to select the work you may want to send.
I have been so occupied with writing my books - that I have neglected sending out poems to some publications that I have had work in - so I thought of Plum Tree Tavern and began to work on a submission to send for the Autumn season. As I looked over his guidelines to refresh my mind, I noticed something that caught my attention. I discovered that he has listed my new chapbook - first snow - on his list of recommended readings by the Tavern. That was a nice surprise -
Here is the link to my chapbook if you want to have a look at what it is like: https://www.finishinglinepress.com/product/first-snow-by-lynda-mckinney-lambert/
This publisher shows the book covers and right beside the cover image, they put a portrait of the author. I've not seen that done before but I think it is a great idea.
If you want to send out something for consideration to The Plum Tree Tavern, here is the link to the guidelines: https://theplumtreetavern.blogspot.com/p/guidelines.html
Happy submitting - August is the best month of the year to submit work.
Editors do not get so much work submitted in August, I have read numerous times by authors who have said this. People are usually on holiday in August and writers wait till fall to resume sending out their work. Don't miss an opportunity.
