Hey Vejas,

Thanks for sharing your work with us. I hadn’t ever heard the word ‘Ambivert’ before, but now I get it—although I think a lot of people can fit into that category. Or perhaps, the way I think of myself is that I’m an introvert, but I can go out and socialize or give a presentation or whatever, but afterwards I need to go home and have some quiet time. It takes effort to go out, but usually it’s rewarding and I’m glad I did it. But like you wrote—I need to go home to my own space to recharge afterwards.

One suggestion I have for you, if interested, is to start this piece with a scene, or a situation. If you noticed, Bridget carefully wove together incidents and thoughts, showing and telling. As written, yours is all telling. But you might start at a party, or a ball game, or in a bar, and show how the situation affects you. Then talk a bit about yourself, and perhaps end with you at home with a cup of tea chatting with your Celtic folk music geek friends (smile) and talk about your comfort zone, or recharge station. Something like that might make the piece more captivating to the reader.

Thanks for sharing.

Chris
