[Stylist] Lynda McKinney Lambert - Newsletter

Linda,

have just finished listening to your newsletter. I use JAWS for my screen
reader, and found the first five minutes very cumbersome to get to the meat
of the newsletter. In going through the entire submission, I found it to be
quite repetitious. I think this would not be a problem if I had more vision.
I could not see your many photos which again was a disadvantage.

Also, I have wanted to ask this question of so many on our list: You gave
all of your books away because you could not read them. How do you then read
your poems over radio, and other venues? Do you, and the others who take
part in the Sunday night telephone gatherings memorize all of the poems you
present? My mother at 96 was able to do this, but many, including myself, am
unable to.

While I have long been inspired by your many words of wisdom, and love your
organization of your work, and the sources of inspiration, and your "one
word" such as "clarity" for a year, there is no way I can get to where you
are in matters of faith.

In trying recently, I keep coming up with visions of so many people, and
young children, trapped under depths of cement block from their building's
collapse, and terrible pain with no hope of water, comfort, hope, or
anything until death overtook them. Where was your God?

I expect rejection for this comment, but I will hope not. It is not that
easy to divorce one's mind and brain.

I still felt wonderful knowing that you and Bob have a 60 year marriage, and
he survived that terrible illness, and that you are still trying new things
to further inspire us.

Dear Friends,

As promised early this year, I created a newsletter .

Please open the attachment and you will find the letter I created for my
friends and supporters who are listed in my personal e-mail address book.

This is a personal letter, and not a commercial mailing sent out by a
mailing list or robot.

If you are receiving this newsletter it is because we have had personal
conversations and past exchanges for a variety of different reasons.

Please enjoy your visit with me today and I hope to have one more newsletter
that will come out in November.

My best regards for the remainder of the summer and I would love to hear
from YOU.

Tell me where you have been on vacation, what you have been doing this
summer, or any other little note that is personal that I will enjoy.

Best regards ~
