Dear Aishwarya,
Your work is always so inspiring! I am sure the kids do enjoy getting their hand on your models.

Do you have any access to a swell machine? Or some other way to print accessible images from digital files?
If you do, I could make some multi-view sketches for you to work from if you would like.

Subject: [TAGS] 3D models

Hi,

I have been working on 3D paintings for quite long. But recently I
thought how would it be to make 3D models of diagrams or structures
around for children  with visual impairment. So I created two models;
one is a human heart and the other is a pyramid. Attached are their
pictures.
Description:
1. Human heart: It may be the size of a huge potato and mounted on a
stand. It has blood vessels and veins. The whole body is painted in
flesh and red colors.
2. Pyramid: It is over a foot in height and is colored in dusky golden
light brown. There are two entrances at the bases of 2 opposite sides.
The surface on which the pyramid is standing has real sand glued so
that it could give the real effect. There are two camels towards the
right side of the main entrance: one is standing while the other is
sitting. The size of the standing one must be an inch. When one
touches the pyramid, they can also feel the outlines of the blocks to
represent the stone blocks like that of the real one.

It has been a great experience to watch children with visual
impairment explore it and understand how these structures look in real
life. I am planning to work on Titanic ship as my next project, but I
don't remember it much as I had seen a documentary on it almost 17
years ago; perhaps I'll take someone's help to describe it to me and
start working on its model.

Aishwarya.
