Good Evening Fellow Federationists:
I'm sharing details below from President Riccobono regarding the celebration
of life for Rachel Olivero. Please continue to keep Rachel's family and
Karen Andersonn in your thoughts and prayers. I have passed on condolences
from the Iowa affiliate. I'm not aware of anyone from Iowa heading to the
service, but if anyone does, please let me know. Thank you!
A Celebration of Life
Rachel Olivero
September 22, 1982 - February 3, 2019
Please join family and friends to celebrate and remember Rachel Olivero on
Friday, February 8, 2019, at the National Federation of the Blind (200 East
Wells Street, Baltimore, Maryland, 21230). The celebration event will begin
at 6:30 p.m. and a brief program will be held at 7:00 p.m. followed by time
to share personal reflections. Please come share your memories with the
extended circle of people who were touched by Rachel's heart, generosity,
and talents.
Parking is available in the garage below our building; the entrance is on
Wells Street.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to
the National Federation of the Blind to support projects in which Rachel
personally invested her time, treasure, and talent. Contributions can be
mailed to National Federation of the Blind, 200 East Wells Street,
Baltimore, Maryland, 21230, or given online at https://nfb.org/donate
