Good Evening Federation Family:

It is with extreme sadness that I write this evening to all of you. I
received word last night that a treasured member of the Des Moines chapter
of the National Federation of the Blind of Iowa, Mike Glynn, passed away
last Thursday, June 11, 2020. Mike served the chapter and affiliate in a
number of different capacities, from being on the chapter board to picketing
along side many of us in front of the Des Moines Federal building in protest
of Section 14C of the Fair Labor Standards Act. He served the Federation
much the same way I suspect he served his country in the military, with
honor, grace, and humility. Thank you, Mike, for your service to this
country, the National Federation of the Blind of Iowa, and the world as a
whole. Below is the link to Mike's obituary and the information for the
visitation tomorrow. I have pasted the text for those who are unable to
access the link.
