[Tall-Corn] Registration for the 2020 state convention of the National Federation of the Blind of Iowa is now live!

Good Evening Federation Family:

I am pleased to inform you that registration for the 2020 state convention
of the National Federation of the Blind of Iowa is now live! You can
register online at

Attached is a word version of the form which can also be found with the
online form and other convention information at

Our national representative this year is Adelmo Vigil, president of the
National Federation of the Blind of New Mexico. You can read more about him
on the state convention page.

A couple of things to note as you register for convention. The fee for
registration this year is $15.00, and donations above that amount are
welcome. The online payments will be handled through PayPal, but a PayPal
account is not required. You can also pay for your 2021 dues to chapters and
the Iowa Association of Blind Students through this form. Please feel free
to reach out if you need assistance with the form. The Word version of the
form can be printed and mailed with your check to our PO box. Registrations
are due by October 16, 2020.

It is extremely important this year that you register in advance of the
registration deadline. This ensures that we get your contact information
correct for voting purposes as we will be using the same phone/text voting
service that the national organization used for national convention. We need
to turn in a list of registered dues paying ;members of the organization two
weeks in advance to get everything into the system to conduct test votes in
the days before convention. Please make sure the phone number provided is
the one you wish to vote from. Only one person can be tied to a phone
number, so if there are multiple people using the same number, it will count
as one vote. More information regarding voting procedures and the principles
of engagement will be forthcoming.

In the meantime, let's get ready for a great convention. I have some
important jobs that I need people to fill, and I'll be sending out more
