We need to find one for a pattern for a machine shop to make one.

I would think the IDB could give any they have left to persons needing them, since they were paid for a long time ago. A person could always make a donation to the IDB in gratitude of receiving one. I also believe the NFB had some made decades ago, but have not had any for very many years. One could have a set made at any competent machine shop.

It is sitting in storage somewhere in my home. I got it years ago when I was an IDB rehab teacher, to show how one could measure things while blind. I don't anticipate doing much woodworking in the future, so could part with it at a price -- assuming I can locate it.

I was told they had at the time they had 27 sets in Stock that sold at $100.00 per set but because they closed down the Store in the Department they could no longer sell them because they didn’t have a Tax Permit any longer. Which in my opinion is a bunch of Bull. I couldn’t even get the name of the Manufacture from them.
