[Tall-Corn] Tall-Corn Digest, Vol 59, Issue 5

[UpgradeMedicaid]

#UpgradeMedicaid/Iowa Disability League is working with a collaboration of
other disabilty groups on a set of Facebook live-streams on the Department
of Justice report from 12/8/21. The third session (will occurs sometime in
February) and is about the need for Iowa to have accessible, easy to find
information on services, etc.

We want to feature as many stories across the disability spectrum on what
needs to be improved at the Department of Human Services (and beyond) and
what could /should be done.   We would love to have someone from the National
Federation of the Blind of Iowa speak on the lack of accessibility of
information, especially the DHS website (and in being civically engaged) if
anyone is interested.

Also, for the livestreams, if there is anything you can think of that would
make them more accessible to you and your community, please let me know.
We are trying to be conscious of providing visual descriptions and also
want to be aware of there are other things.
