[Tall-Corn] Senior Group News

Greetings, If you are a senior and you have been hoping to hear what is
happening with our Senior Group that was formed at the NFBI Convention, wait
no more. Here is what is happening. First I must apologize for being so slow
to get back to you. We do now have some news and we believe that it is good.

 

We are trying to find a time to set up a ZOOM meeting in January after the
16th so that people can get together to talk about what kinds of things they
would like us to cover in our meetings and events at our state convention
next fall. Get in touch with me either by phone at 515 334-7231 or by email

and tell me what time of day and day of the week would be convenient for you
to attend a meeting. You should also make any suggestions of items that you
would like us to focus on in our next few meetings. 

 

You are wanting to know about training opportunities that we know about.
Well, there is news there too. The Senior Division of the NFB is holding a
one week long virtual training session in mid-February. There is a $50
charge for this event and it will broken down into a schedule of one hour
classes. We will have more details after the first of January for those who
wish to sign up for this. On the first day of the NFB Convention this July
will be an in-person session in the afternoon in addition to the business
meeting time for the Division at the convention. Plans are currently in the
works for another in-person session to be held in South Carolina during
August again this year. 

 

All of these are exciting and certainly will be of interest to those who
wish to attend. We of course also need to know what types of things you
would like us to do and that will help our planning committee plan events
that will be informative and helpful to you.

convenience. Our plans are fairly open at this point so if there are
specific items that you would like us to cover let us know.

 

We certainly hope that all of you are planning to have an extremely
