Thank you Helen! If you plan to mail in registrations we also need to have those in by the 30th as well for meal counts which are due to the hotel shortly after. Also, the hotel has opened up additional rooms for our block, so please get your reservations in as soon as possible! The number to reach Mark Forman for reservations is 515-727-0401. The last day for reservations to be made in our block is 9/26/2024. Any reservations after that date will be accepted but there will be no guarantees on the rates. Let’s keep pushing toward one of our most successful conventions ever!

Good morning and Happy Weekend,

 

The deadline for state convention preregistration is fast approaching. Online registrations close at the end of the day September 30. We are only 4 weeks away from our exciting convention. The agenda should be out in the next few days, and we’ve got quite a nice list of outside presenters coming.

Please register as soon as you are able. Once preregistration closes, you will have to wait until on-site registration, costs for each item go up by $5, and we will not be able to sell many meals since we have to give the hotel a final count in advance. Knowing which breakout sessions you would like to attend will also help us make sure we put each session in a large enough room.

 

If you need a special meal, such as a vegetarian banquet dinner, please contact Cindy Ray, cindyray at gmail.com <mailto:cindyray at gmail.com>  as soon as possible so that she can get the request to the hotel.
