[Tall-Corn] Section 504 Texas V. Kennedy Lawsuit Update

Good Afternoon NFBI,

Attached are two documents. The first is a joint letter submitted by NFBI and ICUP to Attorney General Bird. The second is a resolution passed by the NFBI board. Both urge Attorney General Bird to withdraw from the Texas V. Kennedy lawsuit. As a reminder, this lawsuit specifically requests that the court declare Section 504 of the Rehab Act unconstitutional. If you did not right a letter or make a phone call when we reached out previously, it’s not too late, as the next hearing in this case takes place Monday. Calls and letters this week could still make a difference. Thanks everyone for your help defending vital legislation for blind Iowans.
