Hello Helen,

It’s a (lunch) date! State Treasurer Roby Smith’s IAble team and the Iowa DD Council are partnering again to offer a webinar to learn more about IAble – most notably, the expanded eligibility for opening an account. 	
Starting January 1, the age of disability onset is increasing to include those who have a disability that began before age 46 (currently age 26). 

Why is this important?

Because more individuals with disabilities will be eligible to save money without impacting the asset cap placed on Medicaid, SSI and other federal means-tested benefits.
