Subject: [Tall-Corn] Help Make the 2025 NFBI Baked Goods Auction a Sweet Success!
Dear members and friends,
The National Federation of the Blind of Iowa is gearing up for our annual State Convention, and one of last year’s convention highlights will be bigger and better in 2025 – the Baked Goods Auction! This fundraiser not only fills the room with the delightful aroma of homemade treats but also helps raise funds to support our programs and initiatives.
To that end, we would love your help in making this year’s auction the best one yet. We’re asking each member to consider pledging a baked good—whether it’s your famous cookies, a pie that never lasts a minute, or that irresistible cake everyone asks for the recipe of!
If you’re willing to contribute, simply email this year’s auction coordinator, Elizabeth Rouse (elizabethrouse.nfb at gmail.com <mailto:elizabethrouse.nfb at gmail.com> ) with the name of the baked good you’ll bring. She will follow-up with you to confirm receipt of your pledge as well as to communicate delivery logistics come State Convention time.
If you are unable to support by donating an item, remember that you and your tastebuds can always support by purchasing a yummy treat at the auction itself.
Your generosity and culinary talents will help make this year’s auction truly unforgettable!
Thank you for your energy, creativity, and community spirit. We can’t wait to see (and taste!) all the amazing treats at convention.
With appreciation,
Elizabeth
