Hi,

Unfortunately I live in Pennsylvania and am living on SSI. I applied for jobs at social security and nobody has gotten back to me yet. If loadstone did not exist I would not have gps. That was a few months ago. I recently got a job as a technology consultant subcontractor but my employer has not gotten back to me has not contacted me for three or so weeks now. My only conclusion is this. People in other states must have it better off than I do. My voc rehab would not buy me gps because they said I didn't need it so as a result my only choice is to use Loadstone-gps. I have a trial of sendero gps and mobilespeak pocket but they expire on November 12th, then it's back to Loadstone for me. Seems like the blind people in Pennsylvania don't have much luck with jobs. My friend down the street wh is blind living in my city is 50 years old went blind 20 years ago maybe 15 or so years ago and he does not have a job.
I wish the best of luck to those using Sendero products. As for me my trial ends soon then I'll be going back to loadstone gps. But when you're living on SSI Loadstone's better than nothing at all. And loadstone's maps and points of interest are free. Downside is you gotta do a lot more work to get the maps and points of interest installed into the program. Would really be nice if Loadstone were self-voiceing using ESpeak.
