If you are using Windows and Internet explorer you get the download dialog box that comes up, and stays up until the download is done normally. If you examine it with your JAWS cursor the info is there.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know a good way to figure out internet
speed? There are times when I'd like to figure out how fast things are
coming in or downloading from a couple of different places, including my
home.
If you guys know of a way, let me know.
