Thanks for this. If you use the command line you can also get around the unlabeled flash installer buttons by typing "-install"-after the path to the downloaded flash install program e.g., c:\install_flash_player.exe -install. You will receive no confirmation that it installed, but restart your web browser and you will see flash has been installed.

As some of you may have noticed, the recent flash player update for
Windows machines does not label the buttons well. You can get an
accessible installer at
http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html
This should help you get your flash player kept up to date and secure.
