[Trainer-talk] Library workstations equipped for blind people

It is important to contact disability-related service providers and organizations in the area. Let them know that the library is
accessible...first ....make sure that people in the library know how to use and can demonstrate and "assist" with the assistive
technology. 

Additionally, accessibility has to be promoted in accessible formats. Newsletters need to be in alternative formats for individuals
who cannot read print, signage in the library has to be accessible and interaction with patrons should be proactive, in order to
inform patrons of what the library has to offer.

The Kalamazoo MI public library has a very good program in place. If
you contact them they may give you a start in the right direction.
Besides screen readers at the stations they have moble scanning
devices. HTH.
