I don't have the computer with Windows 8 in front of me, but I recall it's
in Settings, Power Options.
Windows + I opens the Settings Charm.
You can also try Windows q to open the Search charm, and try typing Power
Off.
Good luck.

Subject: [Trainer-talk] Teaching Windows 8

Just curious to know if many of you have begun teaching Windows 8. If so,
are you running it without JAWS or with JAWS. I currently have a list of
keyboard commands and last week I played with it for a couple of hours. The
hardest thing I had to do was to turn off the silly computer at the end. I
never was able to quite figure it out and had to ask for sighted assistance.
The person I asked had almost as much trouble with that simple thing.
Because it is out and being sold, our thought here is that VR will begin
buying them simply because it is likely to be cheaper so it is probably
important for me to get it down soon. Any tips or tricks would be
appreciated.

I have the keystrokes from Denise's website but that is it.
