I was thinking about commenting about the save split button, too. I just
had a lesson with a client on this the other day, and we actually had to
press the down arrow. The option I liked was Save and Run.

Hello.
I'd like to add another comment to this discussion. With IE9 the student
will encounter a "save split button" which should be identified in those
words by the screen reader. When you are focussed on this button pressing
the enter key, if my memory is correct, will actually not bring up the save
dialog box you are used to dealing with in prior versions of IE. Instead,
pressing enter on the save split button begins the download and places it in
the downloads folder. However, pressing the right arrow key on this button
will open up a submenu of options.
One of these options should be a "save as" option. If you press enter on
that option you'll get the standard save dialog box you're looking for.
