Hello:

I just looked at the LS&S and Independent Living Aids catalogs. The only Caller-ID devices I saw were integrated into phones.

Regards,

Robert

Hello,

Ann Morris is now Independent living Aids, a very good company. You might try atguys.com. Another reliable and good source is the NFB Independence market 410-659-9314.

Hope this helps.

Warm Regards,

Fred

Hello.
I am not sure if this is still on the market, but I have a talking caller ID called the Cidney 550. It speaks the numbers in a clear female voice, you can review up to 20 numbers, you can even record your voice to speak for a particular number. It does have some other features, but I do not know all of them because I never use them, but it is a great caller ID. I have had it for a while. I got it in 1999 or so and it is still going strong after all the moving I have done, and after being in storage for a short while years ago.
I got it from this place called Ann Moris. I am not sure if she is still in business, but you can do a google search for it.

Hi there,

I know I posted a message on one list a few days ago but really didn't get many answers.
Basically, I'd like to ask if anyone knows where I can get and buy a good and somewhat accessible Talking Caller ID unit. I found one, but it only speaks the number once but doesn't store numbers for later recall. I'm hoping I can find a unit that will work with my already existing phone system.
Thoughts or ideas?
JP
