When I subscribed to a Google Groups list, the subscribe address had a + sign before the word "subscribe." So VIPhone's address would be: viphone+subscribe at googlegroups.com<mailto:viphone+subscribe at googlegroups.com>. Not sure if that has changed since Accessible iOS was on Google Groups.

Maybe try
viphone-subscribe at googlegroups.com<mailto:viphone-subscribe at googlegroups.com>
I'm not on this list myself, but have an understanding of how google groups does subscriptions.
Give that a try.

God bless. :)

Have you told your iPhone to hide the keypad? Depending on what you are using, sometimes the keypad is hidden from the screen. On any phone screen, there should be a series of buttons: mute, add call, etc. Near the bottom of the screen there will be a button labelled "keypad." Double tap this button and the keypad should appear. Please feel free to call me at the number listed in my signature if you have any questions or would like me to walk you through this more thoroughly.

There are a variety of lists for blind iOS users, two of the most popular of which being Accessible-iOS and VIPhone. To subscribe to the Accessible-iOS list, send an email with the subject subscribe to accessible-ios-request at freelists.org<mailto:accessible-ios-request at freelists.org>. I'm not sure of the subscribe address for VIPhone.

Hope this helps,

Chris

I have an I phone 5c & am having trouble with phone numbers that have menu options such as press 1 for this person, 2 for that person & so on when you are connected. The keyboard isn't on the screen, voice over doesn't say anything when I run my finger over the screen. Is there a setting to make it do this. Also I have trouble hanging up with the 2 finger tap. I've heard there is an end button but I can't find it. Any help would be appreciated. Is there an email list for blind people using voice over on the I phone?

Denise
