Gabe,
I have to admit that I was truly shocked by your last comment. First, I
don't think that Jim, or any other subscriber to this list, has asked
questions on this list which proves their incompetence or that their
clients or students are being given less than excellent service. Not
all a.t. trainers are going to know everything. All of us are likely
experts in one or more subject and yet our knowledge may be lacking with
something else. I don't mind admitting to you that my skill set with
iOS is weaker than some others, including yourself, who are on this
list. I also wouldn't hesitate to use this list as a resource if I ran
into situations which stumped me and I'd be happy to give you the name
and address of my employer, in case you feel that my consumers are
receiving less than excellent service. I've been happy to read all of
Jim's messages and was always eager to try and assist if I could.
Sometimes his question might be about something I know about and other
times it was not. I would personally hire any trainer who was
resourceful enough to rely upon mailing lists such as this one to assist
him or her in learning more about a particular subject, issue or problem.

And I feel that his students are being cheated by his lack of knowledge and know-how. I don't understand what agency would hire him to teach any student, because he has the most basic of basic knowledge.
