I'm sorry to hear of Mr. DeWitt's death. He was truly one of the pioneers of assistive technology training--indeed, of assistive technology generally--in this country. He has left an indellable mark on the blind community in America. Those of us in the younger generation of blind people may not know him well, but we can all honor him for his contributions on behalf of the blind. He will be missed.
