Microsoft has released new iOS versions of their Office apps, which
include editing capabilities. While there are some features which need
to be unlocked with an Office 365 account, I've read that most home
users should find the available feature set in this free version to be
satisfactory. I haven't tried it yet although I have used Pages to take
notes and I have some mixed feelings about it, although it is certainly
accessible. Pages is Apple's word processor, similar in many ways to
Word and files created within Pages can be saved as older-formatted
*.doc Word files. Perhaps I'll give word a test spin. Here is the
entry for it in the Applevis directory, indicating that it is quite
accessible with Voiceover.
