I use Blind Square and personally love it. I find it to be the most accurate
of the several I have tried. I have not always been a fan of GPS apps for
the blind in generally but Blind Square has made me a convert, at least with
that particular app.
I can set it for a route and use it to announce streets, almost to the point
that I don't have to let the bus driver know my stop. Remember, I said
almost to that point. Keep in mind that coverage issues and cellular/data
connections will play a role in how well these apps work and how much data
they may use in terms of money. Also, they all put a heavy drain on the
battery life. I use a Mophie charging case to get around the battery drain
issue.
Let me know if you have specific questions and I'll try to answer them.
