Hello Wayne,
I would be more than happy to assist you with training with your first mac.
The trainer would teach the trainer.
There are a ton of lists out there, Peal the Apple, MacVisionaries and MacVoiceOver to name a few.
I have been a mac trainer for the past 4 years and recently obtained my AT certification from California State University.
Please let me know if you're interested. My rates are very affordable.

God bless.

All,
I got my first mac over the weekend and am looking for a mailing list
that I can subscribe to in order to learn more about the Mac and using
Voiceover. I've seen several lists on this topic and wanted to see
which list people liked. I am looking for one that has a good mix of
beginning to advanced users who aren't afraid to put things in simple
lingo.

Thanks,
Wayne Merritt
