Hi Alex,
I use the Focus from Freedom Scientific.
I will tell you I'm not an expert, but I can get by with the basics.
If your student knows how to use Zac screen reader they can use the qwerty while reading the braille one handed. Most of the navigation is not lengthy and should not slow him down reading with one hand but there is a learning curve.
Hopefully he can learn the navigation buttons on the display better then me so he can go faster.
