[Trainer-Talk] Seeking Feedback About Zoomtext Fusion

David,

I am by no means an expert with ZoomText Fusion just yet, but I find that
the ZoomText and Window-Eyes combination known as Fusion has a distinct
MAGic with speech feel to it. I have not run it completely through its
paces, but one issue I have always had with ZoomText is that there have
always been many keyboard conflicts between ZoomText and Outlook, and I was
disappointed to learn that ZoomText Fusion is no different. One item in
ZoomText Fusion's favor, however, is the availability of short video
tutorials located under the Fusion menu of the ZoomText interface. These
videos make starting to learn ZoomText Fusion rather easy, though you must
be online to access the videos. So, at least for now, while I still do not
believe ZoomText fusion to be as polished as JAWS in combination with MAGic,
or even MAGic with speech, it is a far superior offering than ZoomText
MagReader, at least for those making the transition from magnification alone
to magnification with speech. With a few improvements, especially the
elimination of the keyboard conflicts with Windows and Microsoft commands,
this program has real potential and the good people at Freedom Scientific,
or VF as it is now named, may now have some real competition. Once again, I
am still running the program through its paces and hope not to experience
bugs in areas not yet explored; I will attempt to make you aware if glitches
are identified.

Mauricio

Subject: [Trainer-Talk] Seeking Feedback About Zoomtext Fusion

I received a private inquiry regarding the Zoomtext Fusion software from AI
Squared. While I am familiar with this program's concept and overall
features, it is not something I have used and so I wasn't in a position to
offer objective feedback about it. I'm curious as to how the program is
performing, both regarding the enlargement components of Zoomtext as well as
the screen reading components of Window-Eyes. I was also trying to locate ZT
Fusion discussion groups but could not locate any on the sites which are
known to host such groups. Any objective feedback is appreciated.
