Do a four finger double tap to turn on help. This will give feedback on any gesture, and she can practice it until she gets it right. Turn help back off with another four finger double tap.

However, she mentioned to me that she has an iphone but her gestures are not being recognized. She can tap and double tap, but she is having difficulty swiping. She indicated that she is having difficulty swiping straight across the screen and has a tendency to swipe diagonally. I am relatively new to Ios myself and am not sure how to help her with this. Therefore, has anyone experienced a similar situation with their student? If so, are there any techniques I could try that might help her get the swiping motion down? We are working via phone, so I am not there to feel her hand, I'm just going by what she told me she is having difficulty with. Any suggestions on techniques I could try?
