Our rehab center will soon be interviewing for an AT instructor position. This person will be working with blind and low vision adult students. We want to ensure we get someone who has a thorough knowledge of screen readers, Apple products, braille technology etc. I have a couple questions for my colleagues. First, wondering if you all have any suggestions on questions for the panel to ask that would give interviewee's the opportunity to prove their familiarity with AT products and software for the blind? Second, what have you've found to be an effective functional task for interviewee's to perform in order to demonstrate proficiency in this area that isn't too time intensive or cumbersome to use in the interview process?
Thanks so much,
Tonia
