If a number pad is that important to you, and for a lot of people it is not, you can find a USB or wireless Extertal number pad that will work with Jaws. for myself portability and long battery life a solid-state drive and a fast processor like the I7 are the most important things that I look for in a good jaws computer.

Hi,
If you visit microcenter, be sure to watch your credit card statements very
closely and your bank may even call you to ask if you just purchased three
dell computers as mine greatfully did.
If you go with any laptop smaller than 17 inch/business model, you will not
get a good keyboard with a number pad unless the student doesn't mind always
carrying a regular usb keyboard as well.

Hi all,
I have a very intelligent elementary student. The student is learning
really fast (Braille, JAWS, and more). We need recommendations for a small
computer keyboard, small in size but powerful! We will get JAWS 2018,
Windows 10 with the package of apps (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.) Do you know
of any place that will sell it?
Thanks for any recommendation,
Jordana
