I agree with Dean. Besides, if you are doing it for personal use only, it's not like you are  into their making money. In fact, if you purchase a book because you know you can convert it, you are helping them by saving them the effort of having to make the content accessible. Honestly, if it's available on Bookshare as well, I'd just get the content from there. I realize that not all Kindle content is available on Bookshare, though, in which case I'd also use the convertion tool. I miss reading content in the Kindle app on iOS fluidly, but if they won't fix it, I also will not support them by purchasing things from them unless I have no choice.  I've also emailed Amazon, hopefully if enough of us make noise, something will be done.
