Good day all,



Oklahoma ABLE Tech, Oklahoma’s Assistive 
Technology Act Program housed at Oklahoma State 
University, seeks an ICT Accessibility 
Coordinator to help in providing assessment, 
training and technical assistance to public entities across Oklahoma.



It is important to emphasize that this position 
will work with multiple state agencies and higher 
education institutions to help to cultivate 
accessibility expertise at multiple levels.



Here is a breakdown of some of the specific job roles:



   *   Provide technical assistance, training, 
and assistive technology demonstrations related 
to information and communication technology accessibility laws and standards.
   *   Provide training and technical assistance 
to a variety of in-state and occasional out of 
state audiences of varying roles and skill levels.
   *   Perform accessibility assessments of web and non-web content.
   *   Implement various statewide technology 
accessibility initiatives by providing training and technical assistance.
   *   Perform duties from a remote office location.



In terms of experience,



   *   Familiarity with ICT accessibility policy 
such as Oklahoma's Electronic and Information 
Technology Accessibility statute, Section 508 of 
the Rehabilitation Act and broader civil rights 
legislation (ADA, Rehabilitation Act)
   *   Familiarity with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 AA
   *   Demonstrated experience with creation and 
delivery of training or presentation material.
   *   Ability to create web and non-web content that is accessible.
   *   Ability to convey complex information in 
an understandable, conversational manner.
   *   Familiarity and experience in using 
various web accessibility testing tools such as 
WAVE, TPG Colour Contrast Analyser, browser element inspector, etc.
   *   Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat Pro.
   *   Must be able to research and assimilate 
large amounts of information and prepare 
materials on policy, legislation, accessibility 
topics and assistive technology in an independent and timely manner.
   *   Must possess excellent oral, written, 
communication, and presentation skills.
