[Trainer-Talk] Top 3 most powerful but least utilized access technology and accessibility features

hello,

The text analyzer is great. I definitely wish more people would use it. And
I wish other screen readers would have something similar. Also, I really
think that people should learn how to use web applications. I still see
people using Gmail in basic HTML view for example. I really wish that
people would learn to use web apps, and learn standards for how many web
apps are designed. This is really important, as more and more web apps are
being developed. And it makes using many sites much easier, such as Twitter
and Facebook. And finally, this might be a surprise to some, but I wish
that more people would learn efficient ways to navigate. Such as using the
text find command. Many users are still using the Tab Key to navigate
around websites, or using the links list. The links list is fine, but it
does not give you context of what that link is going to. And people get
frustrated because they believe that they navigate it to a web page, and
then they bring up the links list again, and that same link still appears,
and they feel like maybe they didn't navigate to the page they wanted to go
to. Along that same lime, in-page links or same page links or whatever they
are called is a good way to jump to text, as are landmarks and headings.
Especially heading level one headings on most websites.

Thanks.
