Hello Brian. I did not know you were out here on this list. This is really great information. I noticed that I can remove books were mark them complete without having to go into edit from the more action item on the roter. I think they’ve done a nice job.

Hello Sarah,

First, you need to make sure that the library tab is the selected tab at the
bottom of the display. When you use the library button in a book and the
book closes you might find that the Reading now tab is still selected at the
bottom of the screen so tap the library tab if necessary. If Collections is
selected then you might need to use a back button in the top left corner of
the screen.
If using VoiceOver and if not on page 1 of the library you might need to use
the three-finger swipe down the screen until page 1 is in focus.
About half-way down the screen from left to right are options for Sorting
and for choosing between list view or grid view. If you start flicking from
the top you do need to be on page 1 to find these options.
If you are flicking right then do one flick past the word "Sort" to find how
sorting is currently being done. You might hear something like "Manually."
Tap that button to get choices for sorting. Options include sorting by
title, author or manually.
After either selecting one or cancelling you can swipe right to the button
for choosing between list or grid view. Whichever view you choose books are
shown in the sort order you chose descending down the screen. It appears
that more titles are shown at once on the screen using the List view.

To delete a book from the library tap the Edit button in the top right of
the screen. Tap the book or books you want to delete to select them. You
will then get a Delete button in the bottom left corner of the display that
you can tap to delete whatever was selected.

If you use the Edit button in the top right corner you can then find the
book to move to the cloud, and if you swipe up in the Actions Menu for the
book one of the options is "Show Actions Pop Over." If you tap that option
you get a choice to remove download or to hide the book on devices using
your iTunes account. Tap the button you want to use.

Take care.

Good morning. I installed IOS 12 yesterday. In the Books app, how do you
now select books you want to delete or move to the cloud? Also, how do you
see your entire list of books as a list and not as categories in your
library? Thank you.
