Hi,
Welcome to the list and congrats on your position.
My only irk is like most on here, your employer is a rehab agency and we
have miles to go for blind people to be employed as help desk agents in
regular companies.
Employment is even getting harder as pre-screening test to apply for a
customer service/help desk position involves correctly answering some
questions that depends on looking at a picture or the company thinks the
applicant can't type due to getting a zero score due to not being able to
read the paragraph while typing and find the start/stop buttons.

Subject: [Trainer-Talk] Favorite Assistive Technology podcasts
Greetings to all,
While this is my first posting on this forum, I've been lurking for quite
some time and I really appreciate all the valuable insights and knowledge
so freely given here.
I have spent more than 30 years in the computer industry in some form or
fashion but have only really begun to take my first toddler steps as a
visually impaired user as I have been without vision for just the past 5
years. I have recently begun a part time position as an assistive
technology associate at Bosma Enterprises here in Indiana, serving in the
programs division of their rehabilitation center.
I would like to really find some valuable in insightful podcasts that help
me serve our clients better and was wondering if any of you have any
suggestions.
Thanks in advance,
Brian Clark
