[Trainer-Talk] Outlook or Gmail, and which Gmail?

Hello. I've been using Gmail in a web browser for over 10 years and am
very comfortable. I can easily navigate around the page with JAWS
Quick Keys, and can quickly get rid of many messages at once. I would
prefer Gmail in a browser over Outlook. I use Outlook for work, but
think there are times when Outlook is overly complicated. I use Gmail
in basic HTML view, and have taught many students to do so as well.
I've also made frequent and liberal use of Gmail labels, filters and
stars for organizing mail. While JAWS does not identify unread Gmail
messages, I have found that the Gmail iOS app will. Yes, Gmail can be
a chore to navigate, but it is also good practice for basic and
intermediate web page navigation.

Be well,
Wayne Merritt
