[Trainer-Talk] Content of PDF file intermittently appends strings of words

Hi Mario, again,

I believe that is a file-related issue. You can try using the Ctrl + Shift
+ n command to go to a specific page and see if you get only one page. If
not, then it's definitely the file structure.
Also, Shift + F6 should bring you to the Contents tree view that you could
navigate to the desired section and press Enter on it after which you go
back to the reading pane with F6. Note: not all PDF books have their
contents in this way though, so it might not be present.

HTH!

Ned

Sorry, as a screen reader user, I never worry about page boundaries as long
as I can read the text. Not a good habit, but for me it's ok.
I have the following settings, so probably can't help with this one.
Under reading,
Page vs Document: Combo boxRead the entire document
Under Accessibility
Single Page Continuous
Hope you can find a solution.

Don

HI Don and Ned,
Thank you for your suggestions. I will certainly give those a try.
Now here is another pdf question. Sometimes when reading one of these pdf
textbooks, it seems to place two pages per screen, rather than one page per
screen. Basically, the book pages don't match with what the status bar is
reflecting. So that when pressing ctrL+PageDown it travels two pages at a
time rather than one.
It seems that I have tried all variations of the reading options and
accessibility options with no results. So, if you have any ideas or
suggestions I am willing to try those out, too.

Thank you,
Mario

When this happens, I change the "infer reading order from document" setting
to "left to right, top to bottom," and this fixes the issue.

Hello,
My wife downloaded a PDF book from the university web site she is currently
attending. Normally, the content reads fine. However, this particular book
some of the words are appended together making it difficult to understand
when using speech. Does anyone here might have a solution to this issue? Any
ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Mario
