My wife also has an SE 2020. She is sighted, so, needless to say, she doesn’t use Braille input or VoiceOver.
That said, it is obvious that the internal components in the SE 2020 are of a lower quality than those in my 12 Pro.
My wife frequently has a problem receiving a good cellular or wifi signal, while my 12 Pro receives a much stronger signal when in the same location. Sometimes this is a big problem and she has difficulty using her device. This was never an issue with her original iPhone SE (First Generation).
We have discussed replacing her SE 2020 with an iPhone 12, or holding out until the new models are released in the fall.
If price is your primary consideration, then get the SE 2020, but be aware that you are purchasing a lower quality device.

My wife has the SE but does not use the bailing feature so I do not know. I
had the eight and found the keyboard crowded and so didn’t ever really get
a custom to using that feature myself. Perhaps you might consider an 11
which has a lower price point than the 12, that is if the features of the
12 aren’t as important as price.
